Drum Workshop - 12th May 2006
Juma Steel Band from London, travelled to Nottingham to provide pupils in KS2, 3 and 4 with a drum workshop in May.
The band performed a variety of well known tunes to the students for the first half hour and then the group was split into two for the workshops.
During the workshops, pupils were introduced to the various instruments and then given the chance to practise playing the different drums.
The event was a fantastic success!! By the end of the morning, the boys were singing, drumming and some even dancing!
