18th March 2011 -
Once again pupils at Westbury decided to support Comic Relief Charity. Each class chose a fund raising activity which they ran on the day. We started with an assembly which explained how the money we raise would be used and why it was important to support the charity. Keystage 2 pupils ran a 'How many sweets in the jar?' competition won by Jonathan in Year 9. Keystage 3 pupils took part in the 'stalls in the hall' event and ran games including throwing darts at celebrities faces and throwing sponges at Mr Clark and Mrs Ramage!! Keystage 4 pupils made bacon and / or eggs butties for our beakfasts and then washed staff cars. Pupils and staff came dress as a range of Monsters!!
Thank you to everyone who supported the day we raised just over £250.00.
