VACANCY FOR ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER

Salary - L9 to L14 - £42,564 to £48,138. Full-time and Permanant.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to join the Leadership Team at this successful day school for pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social difficulties (KS2 – KS4). The Governors wish to appoint, for September 2008, an Assistant Head Teacher with responsibility for curriculum and other duties across the school. The successful candidate will need to be committed to the vision and ethos of this successful school. We have achieved a great deal in the past 5 years and are looking to continue to develop all aspects of our provision in the future. You will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner.
Be used to personalised planning and teaching in order to meet individual pupil needs.
Have the capacity to inspire and motivate a dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Contribute to the schools vision for the future.
